A SUMMER IN PAROS

White houses and espresso. My summer on the Greek Island of Paros was one of overwrought toursim, family drama, and connection with my Motherland (though my ancestors are from the northern mountains of the mainland).

On the rise as an alternative to Mykonos, Paros is a lush island with pristine beaches, winding streets, and locals that hate all everything about tourists except for their money. This landscape focuses on scope and dimension, while encapsulating the ease and relaxation of island life in the summer.
